GULP has developed a directory of businesses, farms and community gardens in the Darwin region that produce, sell or use local produce. We want to make it easy for people to eat LOCAL and support our farmers
Eating local in-season produce has many benefits. The produce is generally fresher, making it more nutritious and tastier. It is also a great way to reduce your impact on the environment, reducing food miles and food waste.
Help us grow the directory
Do you run or know of a local business/organisation that supplies or uses local produce? We would love to hehttps://ldcg.cdu.edu.au/gulpdirectory/ar from you. Please Add a Place on the Directory or send us an email with the details: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are seeking content from:
– Farms in the greater Darwin area that grow or supply local fruit, vegetables, fish or meat products.
– Community gardens that support people to grow their own produce through garden sites and skill sharing.
– Market stalls, grocery shops and other businesses that have local produce for sale.
– Cafes and restaurants that feature local produce in their menu.
Thank you to the City of Darwin for their support by providing grant funding for the Local Produce Directory, Lakeside Drive Community Garden for web hosting and Georgia Glen for sourcing content and production.
